Short Film Vs. Featured length film

One aspect within the short film which was not to be found in the long film was the insertion of sound. The short film contained no actual sound from the characters only having object sounds. The full length film contained around nine separate characters which all portrayed their own speaking voice, I believe that the short film was meant as soundless audio to only pertain what was going on. Unlike the longer lengthen film which create story plot and character development. Speaking of character development the short film portrayed two characters which were puppets numbered nine, and five, however with the long film there were nine puppets: 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9. The story spread out the characters with there own description in the featured film, each had their own definition. Nine was the antagonist and main character, eight was this big body guard for number one, number seven was a trained puppet useful to protect, six was a creepy misunderstood character who was crazy for a source of power, five was a one eyed character who built friendship, four and three where both twins who gained knowledge and where able to project it, two was an old man who was a technology creator, and finally one was a greedy scared little king. The short story never pertained to that type of development, only having two puppets, number nine and five and a robotic dog who was trying to kill them. The villains and or machines in both movies has very big differences. The expansion of the film had creatures like a robot dog, bird, spiders, snake, and the mother board a so called brain of intelligence. However in the short film the only type of machinery was a robotic dog. Another aspect to look at when comparing both movies was the scenery. Within the movie these puppets traveled to a variety of spaces, including a church, a room which creation happened, a bridge set out in the middle of nowhere, and an underground laboratory which held "the brain". Within the short film however the puppets only had two sections of the film, a junk-land and a broken down building. I would say that's an important difference due to the time each movie/film had portrayed. The featured film had a begging, middle, and end to the story and plot, however the short film had only a begging to an end story. The ending of that short film had an introduction to a bigger picture until the featured film. Now about which one I enjoyed most would have to be the featured film. This featured film had every good detail a animation movie needs, good characters and development, great special effects, and a good final detailed out plot which changes to scenery needed to explain. Any longer lengthen movie would turn out better than the short film, not to say that the short film was bad but it was more like the short film needed to be added on. This featured film had be rolling in certain emotions as I became scared, happy, angry, and sad all in one, unlike the short film where all I ended up being was bland with wanting more to see. Overall I enjoyed both and would love to see more creations in the film industry like this one.
